Nice guy Tim Campbell (us Campbell's have something's in common...eh) beat self-confessed "gobby cow" Saira Khan to a £100,000 a year job with Sir Alan Sugar in the final of The Apprentice.
After twelve weeks where candidates have been dismissed with the now customary
phrase "you're fired"
, gruff East End tycoon Sir Alan delivered the altogether more cheerful phrase "you're hired" to his new apprentice Tim on Wednesday's show.
Viewers saw Tim and Saira go head-to-head in their final task - to each organise a boat party on the River Thames that was both impressive and would make money.
Their teams were comprised of former contestants on the show, reuniting Saira with maverick Paul with whom she'd already had several spats.

Fireworks were sure to follow, and viewers were not disappointed when following anargument between the pair, Saira threatened to sack the property developer.
But while it was Saira who made a profit through her Californian themed wine tasting party, Sir Alan was impressed with Tim's slickly run fashion show and
the thought he had given to turning his venture into a viable long-term business.
Taking past peformance and people management skills into account, Sir Alan chose the 27-year-old transport manager as his apprentice because he was "eager to learn".
The no-nonsense tycoon added that his winning trainee was an empty template,
he's ready to be moulded. He's a prime example of an apprentice.

In an interview following the final show, Sir Alan confirmed that he would do a
second series. Tim, meanwhile, said he planned to blow his first pay cheque on a
luxury holiday for mum. The exact nature of Tim's job as Sir Alan's apprentice
will be revealed tomorrow.
