Prince Albert of Monaco's African Love Child

Prince Albert of Monaco has admitted that he is the father of 22 month boy Eric Alexandre Stèphane Coste, from an affair he had with a Togolese flight attendant - Nicole Coste. His lawayers realeased a statement saying that the Prince has decided to live up to his responsibilities, and is hoping his son would be able to live his life in privacy. In the statement: The child will not be in line for the Monegasque throne, nor will he bear the Grimaldi name, He will however... "have the same inheritance rights as other children of the prince, should he have other children". Albert is said to be worth about £1.4 billion. It was expected that Prince Albert would make a statement this week about the rumours he had a son, after nearly two months of speculation surrounding the subject. Sometime in May, after the April 6 death of Monaco's late ruler Prince Rainier, Nicole Coste earlier claimed that she had been seeing Prince Albert for five years and that DNA test could actually prove that he was the father of her son Alexandre. In the interview with French magazine Paris Match, Nicole Coste said she decided to speak out so that
Alexandre can grow up like a normal child with a father

So long for living like a normal kid :)

Google Wallet Update

A while ago, I wrote on an the yet to be revealed Google Wallet scheme....well I did a bit of research and stumbled on these facts:

Two months ago Google registered a company with the California Secretary of State and formed the Google Payment Corporation....interesting ?!?

Even more interesting...a person in California registered GoogleWallet.com on Thursday, a day before the WSJ story was published

Google CEO Eric Schmidt also confirmed that Google is working on an online payment system but says it unfortunately won't be "a person-to-person, stored-value payments system," like PayPal :( [sob]

Eric Schmidt, CEO of Google said,

"The payment services we are working on are a natural evolution of Google's existing online products and advertising programs which today connect millions of consumers and advertisers''

We are still in the dark on this one...Google please talk! What do you guys think its gona be? micropayments? A wallet for Froogle purchases? I'm lost..... :S

Google ranking secrets

I just nipped this off Buzzle.com...it is an excellent read on anyone trying to get their website on top of Google. Please read on and drop comments as I am open to discuss:

Google recently filed a US patent which reveals a great deal of how they rank your web site. Some of it you could never have guessed at...

How many years did you register your domain name for?
If it was only one then Google could hold that against you.

Why?
Because the majority of Spam websites only register a domain name for one year. A domain name registered for a longer period implies that the owner is more likely to be legitimate and serious about their web site.

This is just one of the unusual factors possibly considered by Google when indexing and ranking a website. Factors you could never even have guessed at in some cases.
